Legislation that would give the DC a voting member of the House and Utah an at-large seat was introduced in the Senate yesterday. Sens. Orrin Hatch (R-Ut) & Joe Lieberman (D-Cn) sponsored the bill, which the House passed 241-177. [Give DC statehood and representation - Utah already has its statehood and other avenues to increase its govt representation.] Orrin & Joe want GOP majority to continue war-mongering.
