If the voting data cannot be released because of the computer system's inadequate security structure, then the system needs to be replaced. The data should be released and if necessary a new system acquired. We can accept a delay in knowing the results. We cannot accept a situation in which our democratic security is breached by inappropriate claims of state security. |
