DNC: Cincinnati Gets Snow in April As Ohio Gives Bush Cold Shoulder

On the heels of a Cleveland Plain Dealer poll showing that President Bush's approval rating in Ohio has dipped to new lows, the Bush Administration sent Treasury Secretary John Snow to Cincinnati for a photo-op aimed at touting the President's failed economic agenda. Sadly, the rosy picture Snow painted stands in stark contrast to the economic realities confronting working families in the Buckeye State and across America. Ohio voters know that Bush and Bush Republicans in Congress have failed to provide middle class tax relief, failed to reduce the cost of health care, and failed to help working families address skyrocketing energy costs. This explains why the President's approval rating has plummeted to a paltry 33 percent in Ohio. (Cleveland Plain Dealer, 4/28/06)
