My name is David Lynch. Probably a lot of you would say I'm just another nut rolling out of Hollywood and I should stick to filmmaking or whatever and not voice my opinion about politics. But still I am an American. I was born in Missoula, Montana. My father was raised on a wheat ranch near Highwood, Montana. My mother was raised in Brooklyn, New York. My parents met on a nature hike in Durham, North Carolina as they were both attending Duke University. My father and mother were both in the Navy during World War II. My mother typed code in New Jersey and my father was chief of the engine room on a destroyer in the Pacific. I have a brother and a sister. I grew up in a great family in the good ol' U.S. of A.
