Although most pundits and the public at large gave the nod to President Obama as the winner of the third debate, held Monday night in Florida, Conservative Commentator Ann Coulter saw it differently. After live tweeting the rumble on foreign policy, the conservative author and commentator summed up her thoughts on the evening by writing, --I highly approve of Romney's decision to be kind and gentle to the retard.-- She drew backlash immediately. Her comment comes less than two weeks after Dan Niblock, the father of a young boy with Down syndrome, published an essay on the website of NBC� �� s Today taking Ms. Coulter to task for using the same term in another tweet. It� �� s apparently a habit of Ms. Coulter� �� s.
