There is not ONE of the people that planned and helped to execute this war that are capable of being that honest, either with themselves or the public that they are supposed to be serving. Otherwise, where is the difference between the mullahs of Iraq and our country? Answer: There isn’t one, and there SHOULD be. At this point, there IS no honourable way to disengage ourselves from the horrors that this regime created, with our help.

We are all guilty in some way of the atrocities, both there and here. The only way to expiate that guilt is to stand up, admit that there WAS nothing to go to war with Iraq for except their oil, and then get out of office and retire from public view altogether.

Somehow, I just don’t see that happening.
