Former FL Senator Bob Graham says the Joint Congressional Inquiry he co-chaired was manipulated when the Bush White House withheld key accounts of al Qaeda's movements in FL. Starting the day of the 9-11 attacks, links between the hijackers and a prominent Saudi financier Esam Ghazzawi were uncovered by the FBI and Sarasota sheriff deputies, but "blanked out", providing safe harbor for Ghazzawi, his daughter and son-in-law who were visted in Ghazzawi's home by the hijackers while enrolled in Venice flight schools (Miami Herald).
Ghazzawi is said to have held funds for a Saudi Prince who died suspiciously the same week as two other princes fingered by former bin Laden aide Abu Zubaydah. Another died mysteriously in his 40s a year later.
Over 40 Senators called for the release of the 28 pages of redactions but a network media whitewash has fed public ignorance and squelched the effort.
