The small town of Jadu in the Nafusa Mountains of Libya stands as a positive example of what Libya free of Gaddafi's stassi-style police state is going to look like, one where the center of power is not in a feared police citadel full of thousands of surveillance files on its citizens, but where the police, courts and laws serve the people instead of the vainglorious dictatorship of one man and his family.
