A spokeswoman for the DCA told silicon.com that e-voting technology will not be used in any elections this year and that there is currently no timetable for when it will be used.
She said: "Because of concerns of the security of votes we need to make sure people have confidence in the system. We need to be sure it is completely tamper-proof." |
