Driehaus called the district a microcosm of the country and "probably one of the most evenly divided and diverse" in the nation. It boasts conservatives from the West Side Catholic base, the liberal folks in Clifton, a high African-American population and immigrant populations.
Driehaus, a West Price Hill freshman Democrat, said he wouldn't mind if Obama came to town to campaign for him in the nationally watched race.
