| While home for the holidays this weekend, I tasked myself with cleaning out my childhood room. Instead of throwing out the slew of old books I discovered, I turned to Google to find out where I could donate them. Enter Better World Books, an organization that collects used books and textbooks (even providing a free shipping label to streamline the process). The company then sells those books in it's online marketplace. For every book sold, a book is donated to literacy projects around the world. Any collected books that can't be sold are donated or recycled. |
