Wikileaks director Julian Assange spoke to Ahmet Yeþiltepe from Turkish news channel NTV.
He said how he tested secret files come to him are true or not: "Someone send true secret files to us because senders know Wikileaks is the worst address for false files. First of all we search on original files and we look at to some other sources about the file. People who send the files know if we publish their files and these files are false, this will appear at short time. Because every files which we publish register all around the world and claims on files are investigated by governments. Although we call someone from inside where related with claims and we ask claims are true or not. We just once saw the claim is not true, someone on phone said that. But some intelligence agencies officers said that they had responsibility and they didn't talk about the claim. Then, we ask details from file, for example, did this meeting get realized at this date, after a few questions we learn claim is true or not and claims are usually true."
Assange said that someone in USA ask to him whether he is a journalist or not. Because they plan to be discussed his position for influence the courts and public union: "Because they want to introduce me as a spy. But I edit an internet site, I have written my first book while 25 so I am a publisher, journalist and writer."
According to Assange a new political generation who follow internet comes. He sampled some rover parties from Europe especially Germany. He noticed Germany rover party became successful at least election. He related Wikileaks with these political movements and he claimed these movements increase day by day at world. He said big and main parties can't see this great change.
NTV interviewer Yeþiltepe asked to Assange whether he will join to policy at Australia or England. Julian Assange said he had to stay in Australia for joining to elections but he is in home arrest at England and for being candidate in England he had to be stayed for along time in England. (Laughs): "I need much more time, so I must to delay policy"
