Time to get serious :::::::: Two Issues First of all, if the McCain/Palin ticket DOES NOT get elected, what are we gong to have to talk about? There is not much else on the pages of OEN or anything else, right now. But the horrible part of that is that we have let this Palin nonsense overwhelm everything else that may be important. We should stop that. Continued chronic blogging and long running commentaries (and even bad jokes) make us as bad as the media we deplore. And we have probably enough dirt to go around, already. Secondly, we have all made countless Palin jokes this week, but this is serious. Despite the plethora of stories, she is a total unknown and therefore dangerous. Even Joe Biden has said he doesn’t know what topics to debate with her, because nobody knows what she thinks. And either Karl Rove let her on the ticket because there is a plan, or for some unknown reason the RNC rejected his input, as far as she is concerned. If Rove didn’t have a plan, she would be gone by now. But she gets harder to dump with every passing day. If that should be the case, we should all be very nervous and get serious about having this time bomb around. I know I’ve made my share of jokes about her, but it is time for somebody to tell the RNC that this isn’t funny. This is a very bad joke to play on the American people and it is in very bad taste. And we should reject all of it as clearly and completely and as soon as possible.
