|
Watching malignancy :::::::: I watch a malignancy use munitions and men to collapse bodies and buildings and countries and peoples and I watch those of depth and breadth ignore the shallow and small who wield the sword of ignorance and certainty to cut the heart from my country and I watch the blood and treasure of my country flow through the fingers of ignorant, greedy men and swirl down the drain of faked foreign wars and into the pockets of those ignorant, greedy men and I listen to the small and the shallow of no honor speak of the honor of their malignancy and I listen as the remedy of removal is considered inconsiderate and I watch as the hopelessness of hope is applied as a balm to the hopeless malignancy and I see that my country was born by the removal of malignancy and I see that we have come full circle to produce a malignancy that must be removed to reproduce my country free of malignancy and I see that I must not watch, I must not listen, I must not fail, and I see that my country is me.
