The role of the so-called Christian Right in Americas downfall.

::::::::

George Bush and the Religious Reich.             Once upon a time,  Yeah!, like this was a fairy tale.   The devastation that George W. Bush, Dick B. Cheney, The Military Industrial Complex, and the Religious Reich have forced upon this nation and the rest of this planet is eons from being a fairy tale.  The MIC provides the monetary support,  Dick and George are the front men/planners, and the Religious Reich dreams up the immoral support that a lot of Americans fall for.   With the Reichous “Christians” supporting the Bush administration the American voter has been fooled into supporting the most Un-Christian government this nation has ever endured.  Jesus Christ, Himself, would have condemned Bush and his cronies just as he did the High Priests in his time for their immorality and deceit.  Just how enough Americans can be coerced, cajoled, or convinced into voting for George is beyond any sensible reasoning.  Yes, I realize that Georges little gnomes have been hard at work fixing and stealing elections but even that does not explain why people have voluntarily voted for this ignorant doofus.   Does George need to wear a clown nose for people to recognize what he is?  And then, of course, there is Dick Bruce Cheney.  Darth Vader looks like a saint compared to the infamous Cheney leer.  A team of Stan Laurel and Freddie Krueger would sell better in Hollywood than George and Dick yet the voters of this country and Congress have supported them for 8 years.              Although there is plenty of blame to be shared amongst the three branches of our government(Executive, Congressional, Judicial) a great deal of it must go to the Religious Reich.  George’s immoral supporters include Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, and all the others of their ilk that blasphemously use the Christian religion to prod their followers(the sheep, as it were) into sending their hard earned cash in to fill their personal coffers and vote for George and his buddies.  The Catholic Church has done a fine job of demonizing the Christian religion by itself but our Religious Reich has taken that to a new low in torpedoing our countries ethics and image.  Christianity and the United States of America are being sabotaged from within by this sad group of satanic “moralists”.  When will all of the decent Christians wake up and start purging these despots from their religion and our nation?  Who in their right mind would want to worship in a religion that supports or at least does not condemn these despicable cretins that are tarnishing both the glory of what should be a simple and ethical set of beliefs and an honorable and brave nation?  What on earth do they preach every Sunday in the church’s across this once great nation?  Do we need another Martin Luther to start nailing warnings on the church doors?            Of the many great people of history, both religious and political, that we honor with monuments and brilliant writings, all would be ashamed of us for what we have allowed to happen to our country and our religions.  While this is not a Christian country it does have a very large majority of Christians.  Christians who must share the blame for the demise of America as a great world leader and beacon of hope for the billions of human beings who look to us for help.  The only redemption I see would be for the Christian congregations of this country to rise up and vocally urge their representatives in Congress to finally do the truly right thing and begin the impeachment investigations of George W. Bush and Dick B. Cheney.  It is not too late, it can never be too late to right this grievous wrong and reset our course whether as Christians or as Americans.
