We are close to fighting each other. We have time. Our forefathers told us. Often. WE ARE THE GOVERNMENT. :::::::: Wake up please...a note to myself Slowly, methodically and incrementally our constitution has been raped, our way of life stolen bit by bit. The beauty and the valiant efforts, the lives and the blood spilled by our fore fathers and mothers that gave us our United States Of America are now looked at as merely a piece of history that has no connection to us anymore. Respect and responsibility has been replaced by fear and blame, all in the name of freedom. Everything is bought and sold. Everything. God. Uncle Sam. Our children. Many here (myself included) get our Hanes in a bunch about this election which is just another sale of the day. Aisle 7. Table and chairs. One hour. Red tag. Blue light special. The volumnous stench of our greed for more, and our laziness in not protecting each other has caught up to us. We believed our own bullshit, that we were the beacon of the world. That as a culture we were the measure of fairness, equality, and the guiding light of freedom. We the people. We've let our government go to the highest bidder. Now we want to blame them for our laziness, our greed. Whether or not we were bambozelled matters not. We have forgotten. WE ARE THE GOVERNMENT. This is our lesson. It will be repeated until we learn. Our fore fathers told us this. Many of them. Repeatedly. Today many are awakening. Finally. More need to be shaken from their slumber. One example: The French Underground in WWII were terrorists by design and form. Ununiformed, speaking in codewords and phrases, tunnels and hidden cellars their highways and safehouses against the Nazis. Small victories, slowly, methodically, incrementally they fought their way to the light. History has had many such examples. Our forefathers were one of many. This is the way it happens. We still have time. It is getting close when many will begin to feel more than just these tough economic times. It will get worse. There is a good possibility that there will be a fight right here. A real one. Between the haves and the think they haves. Community will save us. Doing the good thing. For each other. First. Makes me embarrased to admit that I am responsible for this. Diligence never sleeps. Wake up. peace
