::::::::

The content of OpEdNews.com has become too far left for my support. Political polarization is the wrong game now. Democrats must win the White House and increase their majority in Congress to accomplish the goals you want. To do so they must appeal to the widest moderate audience. That includes independents and moderate republicans as well as all traditional democrats. Talk of impeachments and "Betray Us" ads by Moveon rallies the base, but turns away much needed support from moderates. Ironically, the more successful you are, the less likely it will be for democrats to win. You are hurting the larger effort, because the far left base is not big enough to carry the day alone without help from the moderates. When moderates turn away from you in abhorrence, you are working for the republicans to ensure a democratic defeat. Out here in the Mid-West, perhaps the effects are more visible than on the east coast. You are a worthy journalistic experiment, but I can no longer be associated with an organization unwittingly dedicated to defeat democrats in 2008.

You have a great sandbox to flame everything your community desires, including this, but pray that your influence does not spill out of your sandbox lest you contribute to an outcome you will love to hate.
