Why Rudy should fear liberals, and not the other way around.

::::::::

For those of you who haven't heard, Rudy Giuliani has come out and made the claim that he is the "Liberal's worst nightmare". When I read this, I couldn't help but laugh; not because I think the comment, itself is amusing to me (though it is), but because I couldn't help but picture Rudy wearing a bright red afro-wig and a red rubber nose when reading the words. Sorry, that's just how my mind works. The fact is, however, Rudy isn't the worst nightmare for any liberal, unless that particular liberal has a recurring nightmare of a corrupt Republican wearing a cocktail dress chasing them through a New York subway.

No, I can say, as a proud liberal, that I have absolutely no fear of Rudy. In fact, I'm going to go on the record right now as stating that I am Rudy Giuliani’s worst nightmare.

I am a person who actually pays attention to the news. I'm a person who actually knows the facts regarding the repeated story that Rudy Giuliani seems to be running on.Rudy is not the "hero" of September 11, 2001.

 No, Rudy's actually the brilliant bloke that decided to house New York's emergency control centre in a location that was already a known terrorist target. Seeing as that wasn't a foolish enough decision, he had it set up, not on the ground floor or basement (as logic would dictate); he set it up on the 23rd bloody floor!

That takes a special kind of stupid. That takes the kind of stupid that would think that Bernie Kerrick is a man of integrity. It takes the kind of stupid that declares to the afore mentioned bastion of moral turpitude, when the towers are falling (after he stopped running away and starting doing something remotely resembling his job) "Thank God George Bush is President."

I'm a person who is a little put off by the fact that Rudy Giuliani puts forth effort to getting an old friend of his back into his place of religious power, even though said friend was ousted because of repeated allegations of child molestation.

In short, I'm a person who knows the truth, and who isn't afraid to let fly with it.

That's right, Rudy: I am your worst nightmare.

Pleasant dreams, Bunky.

The Reverend Damien Darko is just a regular long-haired, liberal hippy who wants what's best for the world. He's the host of The Dark Side, a programme on more...)
