A Military Mom sends a passionate letter to the Democratic National Committee and receives politics as usual in return. :::::::: Recently, Jo Ann Drozd, a military mother whose son was Stop-Lossed, contacted the DNC with her concerns and belief that VP Cheney and Pres. Bush be held accountable for "crimes against our military and humanity" expressing that "Impeachment would be an appropriate first step." The DNC responded by placing all blame on the Republicans while ignoring the call for Impeachment. Click here to view the exchange. It seems the DNC's tactic is to declare it's all the Republican's fault, there's nothing they can do about it, but put the dems in power in 2008 and everything will be just fine. Ms. Drozd sent a powerful and heartfelt request for help and in turn was handed politics as usual. I'm no fan of the Republicans, but is it possible for the Dems to take some responsibility? They even made this claim, "Republicans in Congress have consistently failed to show the leadership and backbone needed to stand up to President Bush when it really matters." I'm sorry, say that again? Click here and let the Democratic National Committee know military moms deserve better. The next time the DNC or any candidate comes slithering by via letter, phone call or e-mail begging your support, it's worth responding with a declaration of: "no more until you take up the issue of impeachment."
