Support OpEdNews and Carl Levin is drinking something funny.

I am a poor, disabled veteran, and I managed to make a very small contribution.  It need not be a lot, just something to show your appreciation for this awesome forum that we have and to help keep it going.

Lastly, I read the remarks made by Senator Carl Levin, who voted for the war funding.

"Sen. Carl Levin, D-Mich., no less an opponent of the conflict, cast a different vote.

“'I cannot vote ... to stop funding for our troops who are in harm’s way,' said Levin, chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee. 'I simply cannot and I will not do that. It is not the proper way that we can bring this war to an end.'"

I really want to know what kind of koolaid Carl Levin is drinking to believe that the war can end while it is simultaneously being funded.  It is no more possible to end the war while funding it than it is possible to get a government agency to shut itself down while funding it.
