While the President and members of Congress continue they're debate over the Iraq War in comfort and safety, blood is being spilled and lives are forever changed.

::::::::

Mr. President and members of Congress, how many more deaths of American servicemen and women, how many more dead, maimed, displaced Iraqi men, women and children are acceptable before you put an end to this war. A war that was forged on lies and one in which guys I know on the ground in Iraq are saying is already the "cauldron of chaos" that you, Mr. President, claim it will become with withdrawal. Give me a number. I want a number.

While Democrats and Republicans alike continue your banter and empty threats, voices are crying out here and abroad begging for an end to it now. How many Iraqi's do we need to kill in order to liberate them? Does anyone else see the hypocrisy? Number please.

At least stop pretending we're trying to help the Iraqi's. I spoke recently with a medic who said his first orders were that he was not allowed to provide medical care to any Iraqi civilian unless they were going to die or lose a limb. Now, he has to live with the anguish of all the wounded children he had to step over. Somewhere in Iraq a mother and father have that memory seared into their brains and a child's life will never be the same. How many more lives forever changed before you bring this to an end? I want a number.

How many more brave American men and women are you going to knowingly send to their graves because of lies and greed? How many more members of the military will return without the resources for appropriate medical and psychological care? Please reply promptly with a number you find acceptable.

Stop playing games. The American people and the world have had it. To Congress, the American people made a statement last November. We can do it again. There are plenty of ethical, hard working, Constitution loving future politicians waiting in the wings and I personally don't care anymore from what party they're affiliated. The American people are sick of this.

Here's a number for you. Zero. Number of incumbents I'll vote for who refuse to fight for an expedient withdrawal from this war in Iraq.
