Will Obama expand the Afghan War? The real question is whether Obama in the presidential campaign was telling us what we wanted to hear or was he really promising CHANGE. As many of his actions related to national security, secrecy and war are Very Bush like, it is getting harder to continue to believe in Obama. I am a 45 year Democratic voter and I'm getting angry.

See Afghanistan - the proxy war in the Boston Globe today. http://bit.ly/2ms2n

I heard the General in charge in Afghanistan say on 60 minutes (I think it was) on Sunday that a proper counterinsurgency campaign takes 14 years. After, 8 years they want another 6 years of the Afghan War.

14 years of War In Afghanistan!!

Did you see the American War Length Graph on Greenwald's article on Salon showing the length of all our wars are growing to twice the length of WW2? Our little wars?

SEE Article: The suffocatingly narrow Afghanistan "debate" by Glen Greenwald/Salon

When these little wars grow to twice the length of WW2 something is really wrong. The investors in the military-industrial complex are really in control. We've got to stop it soon or there will not be any money left for improving the lives of Americans.

See the An Open Letter to the President and the American People about the War in Afghanistan published on PDAmerica.Org By Sgt Devon Read, Cpl Rick Reyes, Cpl Jake Diliberto and Cpl Cameron White. http://bit.ly/1orU2W regarding General Stanley McChrystal's classied report on the situation in Afghanistan.

They claim that"deep inside his classied report he concludes that he needs 500,000 troops over ve years".

We think the only way to get these people under control is to prosecute them every time they violate Federal Laws
starting with all of the Bush-Cheney Torture Conspiracy Crimes..

SIGN THE PETITION calling for Prosecution
