Iranians demonstrate to Americans how to demand liberty. A first lesson is that demonstrators must outnumber the Police. Everybody should carry a camera and use it often.

Protesters against the Iranian government and the violation of human rights in Iran kept their promises and demonstrated against Iranian president, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad in New York City during his address to the United Nations General Assembly on Wednesday, September 23. Protesters came from four corners of the world including Toronto, Tokyo and Tehran. The Iranian opposition movement (the ‘green movement') was well represented.

BTW, this would be an appropriate moment to ask the Iranians to dismantle their nuclear facilities without rancor. It would be an offer they can't refuse.

Also, they could enforce the 1948 UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights.

This is the least we can do to support the common people's stand for liberty.
