|
I'm a huge fan of Google and somehow, I downloaded something that changed my default browser to Yahoo - and what a difference it made! Until I can reload my system the browser won't allow me to change the default setting, so I'll have to live with it until I have the time to reload my system. Chrome is another matter and it still has problems, but they are minor and the speed is unbelievable! ::::::::
Let's call this an advisory; Google's Chrome Browser is lightening fast and I swear by it for reading articles and browsing the web. Spell checking is great, but there's still a bug in it, and if you use it to submit comments, they look like the work of a drunk or someone in too much of a hurry to check their work. I'll continue to use Chrome for reading and browsing the web, but when submitting an article or a comment, it's back to Firefox to ensure that my work doesn't come out barely able for people to read.
It's also worth an honorable mention that when I used Yahoo or other search engines looking for important data, in most cases I had to manually pull up Google to find what I was searching for; as a search engine, Google is still unsurpassed to the best of my knowledge, and if they fix the bug that causes words to run together, Chrome may emerge as the fastest Browser you can use, as it brings up articles and search results almost twice as fast as Firefox - and I.E. isn't worth mentioning
Anyway, be careful submitting comments or articles using Google's Chrome until they fix the bug - but look to the future when it's bug-free to be the quickest Browser I've ever witnessed. No one wants their writing to look sloppy, and you all have my apology for not spotting the error earlier and passing along the warning.
I am nothing more than a patriotic American that is doing whatever I can to further the cause of democracy, the rule of law, and am absolutely outraged on how the Bush administration is defying our Congress, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights! (more...)
