|
The Judge has ordered that both children receive all A's and B's, otherwise their Mother will be punished. My Niece, who just turned 14, is so stressed out over her math grades that she's getting sick! ::::::::
My nieces grade's so far are excellent except for math; they received new Math textbooks this year and the material they contain I don't even know how to do - and I'm fairly well educated. My Niece has stress problems and takes prescription Prevacid 30 Mg. per day, and she was crying last night because she didn't understand the material - and was afraid that if her grades weren't up to par, her mother would go to jail. I should also add that she vomits and experiences severe stomach pain when she is overly stressed - and worrying about her mother going to jail is actually making her sick!
How can a Judge legally place this much stress on a child? This seems to me to be cruel and unusual punishment, and is causing her an enormous amount of stress, which is actually counterproductive to the learning process. The teacher stated she had to have after-school tutoring, which she will attend tonight, then we are out of gas money for the month. This seems to be a Catch 22 to me, purposely set in motion by the court. Does anyone have any suggestions??? I feel like the court is maneuvering itself to takes my Sister's children away from her by setting unreasonable goals and placing this absurd stress on children.
The stress is also affecting me, and I'm about to go out of my mind with worry. GD! I hate Republican States!!!!

I am nothing more than a patriotic American that is doing whatever I can to further the cause of democracy, the rule of law, and am absolutely outraged on how the Bush administration is defying our Congress, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights! (more...)
