Well...

 Hitler is always reference when any discussion of historic 'evil geniuses' occur.  I personally would argue that The Dick Cheney is/was a far greater 'evil genius' than Hitler due to a few simple facts:

Hitler's policies killed millions but he was left in ruin/disgrace at the end of WWII and allegedly committed suicide.

Cheney's policies killed at least several hundred thousand people but he was allowed to finish his term, left office peacefully, and now lives the 'high life' with way too much $$....

So who would you say was worse?
