|
A Diary entry of the Vermont rebuke given the Mormon Church for its homophobia! :::::::: What a difference a day makes! Its like reaching into the grave and pulling out two of the most infamous sons of Vermont and giving them a slap on the cheek bones. And by it there’s a message coming down the pike at the successor(s) of those two currently, Thomas Monson; that justice and humanity will reign supreme over your distorted notions of what is proper and acceptable in your playing field of delusions! 1/16th of mankind is civilly equal to the rights of 15/16ths ! Mormon “prophets” Joseph Smith, Jr. and Brigham Young were both born in Vermont in the early eighteen hundreds; Young in 1801 and Smith in 1805 just about fifty miles apart. It was as if the angel of darkness hovered over Eastern Vermont to get revenge for the Green Mountain Boys and their contribution to the Revolutionary War or for injecting some vestige of mental sickness to infect the world. http://travel.webshots.com/photo/1088030540032324738osUdAb The Vermont Legislature had recently passed the same sex marriage law which was vetoed by the Governor. On April 7th the Legislature put its footprint in the sands of time by overriding the veto! Hurray for the modern sons and daughters of Vermont who joined a growing chorus determined to assure civil equality to the Gay community! Hurray for spiting in the face of the Mormon Oligarchy!
