 Thirsty Southern California is given the promise that comes with the rain, like a ring placed on the finger of the goddess with a happy pledge. The prismatic bow rises over the Angelina National Forest. The clouds part, the birds sing with delirious glee, and hope fills the crisp, laundered air.
