|
Unfortunately, I have lost my objectivity when it comes to political matters. For the time being, until I can control my own emotions and bury the hate and loathing I feel for our government, I'll concentrate on issues that do not require objectivity - but matters of fact. :::::::: The fact of the matter is that I'm joining millions of other Americans that are quickly losing hope and becoming angry at our government. Once you cross that line, it's hard to be objective in writing about politics. We don't need anger, but reasoned and rational responses to help the public understand what is happening to them while they receive hollow promises and gestures. Try to feed your family or pay rent with a "gesture" or "hollow promises" from Washington. If you've read many of the articles on this site, it's more than obvious that we face an unimaginable crisis- and the GOP, unable to transform their party into anything other than obstructionism, bigotry, and racial hatred, is helping to destroy this nation from the inside-out. It wouldn't be fair if I didn't mention the so-called Democrats that lined-up for their own Bill, HR 645, to build more FEMA Internment Camps. Anyway, I'll stick to subjects that don't require political analysis until such time that I can regain my objectivity - along with any semblance of faith in my own government. William Cormier
I am nothing more than a patriotic American that is doing whatever I can to further the cause of democracy, the rule of law, and am absolutely outraged on how the Bush administration is defying our Congress, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights! (more...)
