Harold Pinter died on Christmas Eve 2008. And while certain of his plays are likely to live on as classics of the English-speaking theater, his political works also made a considerable impact on millions of people. :::::::: For me, one of the most staggering of all public utterances in my lifetime, was Harold Pinter's Nobel Prize lecture in 2005. Not only for what he says about art, but for what he said in the second part about the world's current state of affairs in general.
