Prohibition was repealed 75 years ago December 5th. Let's remember the folly of trying to legislate against addictive behavior, and celebrate!
(My friends who are in recovery will surely punish me for this imprudent and insensitive opinion. I apologise in advance.) :::::::: Excessive drinking, drug abuse, eating disorders, and a litnay of other abuses too long to list are no laughing matter. We live in an addictive society. But attempts to legislate a solution simply do not work.
