NJ GOP Fundraising letter presents candidate for Governor as a champion of frugal, smaller government. He says that "the America you and I believe in is under assault as never before." :::::::: Who is he? He’s the NJ GOP candidate opposing Governor Jon Corzine. According to him “… today’s liberal is committed to one thing… Finding new ways to separate you from your hard-earned money. They’re determined to redistribute income so that they can keep stealing property and expanding government even further. This is called Socialism. And it’s un-American.” Lonegan goes on at length (four more pages) urging me to “fight back!!” He paints Jon Corzine as a “rabid leftist” who want to take his “radical brand of Big Government Socialism” national. The letter is a fund raiser of course. It just amazed me that Longan expects that the people who got it will be reaching for their checkbooks. They should be insulted. Given what has been going on for the past year, what could he be thinking? Is there anyone left who really believes that Republicans represent fiscal conservatism, small government, and the man who earns his pay with hard work? I guess there could be. For sure Steve Lonegan paid big bucks to mail thousands, maybe millions of those letters to people he thinks are “unapologetic [and stupid] conservatives.” Sorry Steve, you won't get my help to "rebuild the conservative movement." I've seen enough in the last few years to last a lifetime. Didn't the world breathe a sigh of relief when you guys lost big last month?
