"We live in a society that believes there is no problem that can't be licked by finding the right person to blame." -- J Weiss. :::::::: Too often we expend precious time and energy trying to blame and punish. Rarely does blame or punishment make the situation any better, and often it divides and isolates the very people who can best work on the solution. Finding a culprit is not the same as defining the problem. Punishing those responsible is no guarantee that a problem won't get worse or happpen again. (God knows we put plenty of people in jail with little impact on crime.) When it comes to our national crises, "Get over it and get on with it," should be our motto.
