Due to financial issues and other issues I do not care to go into, my site will close in 23 days.

If anyone wishes to copy or retain any information from this site, you have 23 days before it closes for good. Politics is a disgusting area of writing and I'm fed-up with all of the associated garbage that permeates the political scene - including sites that are so-called Liberal/Progressive sites.

I have always appreciated the support I have received from the readership of Op-Ed News - and I convey my well wishes to all of the readership. This has been an ugly election cycle and it has taken its toll on me, as did my mother's death.

I posted an article that was approved at Op-Ed News today, however, somehow it was buried so no one was able to read it. I believe it was an important wake-up call to America and can be found in Op-Ed News articles that were posted on the 19th of November.

I am nothing more than a patriotic American that is doing whatever I can to further the cause of democracy, the rule of law, and am absolutely outraged on how the Bush administration is defying our Congress, the Constitution, and the Bill of Rights! (more...)
