The Dis-grace of Bush and the GOP

::::::::

            Now that the GOP has met defeat they are all of a sudden being very gracious and almost magnanimous in their loss.  One day they are viciously slinging false accusations and predicting horrible doom if they lose, and the next day they are trying to emulate saints in defeat.  Considering we could not believe anything they have said in the last eight years why should we believe them now?   McCain, Bush, and others are being such wonderful losers where they have never even tolerated minimal disagreement with their policies.  I have become quite used to charges of being unpatriotic, liberal, left-wing, traitors and the like being leveled at anyone who dared to challenge what the powers in the GOP wanted.  There is definitely something rotten in DC!  The events of the Bush administrations 8 years absolutely beg to have conspiracies wrapped around them.  With his Signing Statements and Executive Declaratives bypassing the Constitution and other laws, plus his VP moving back and forth from the administration to Congress as his place of responsibility ("I am not part of the administration or I am not part of Congress"-) this administration has proceeded to distract our government, our citizens, and our world neighbors almost continually in bringing their agendas about.  They have almost single handedly wiped out the middle class and greatly widened the gap between the rich and the rest of us Americans.  They have definitely wiped out over 4000 American soldiers and who knows how many Iraqis in their demented and falsely begun "war"- in Iraq.  Their use of the devastating events of 9/11 as fodder to bring about the "war"- and their many money siphoning non-bid contracts is beyond immoral or ethical.  The fact that they have claimed to be Americas Christian leaders is completely reprehensible.              President-elect Obama wants to make change come about but it will be somewhat hollow if we allow the current administrations corruption to be dismissed without a complete and thorough non-partisan investigation along with the appropriate criminal indictments.  Of what good will our laws be, now that they have been rendered inept and unenforceable.  This government of the people, by the people, and for the people, has been dumbed down to the level of a 4th world countries junta.  Our Constitution and our laws are layed bare of any of their intended meanings and power.  The ethics and integrity that our government is supposed to uphold as an example for all mankind to live up to, has been stuffed into the gutters on its way to the sewer.  The administration, The Congress, and the Supreme Court are all just bad jokes being told on our once great country, over and over again.  In this universe we appear to have been a shooting star that is burning out at a frightening rate.  The uplifting of Barrack Obama's election will quickly wane and we will continue our descent into history if the total truth of what has come about in the last 2 decades does not get found out and necessary corrections be applied and enforced.
