There is something Psychologically REALLY wrong with those here who cannot stop from trying to be a wet blanket

They cannot stand that any of us are happy. That is sick.

::::::::

I wonder if some of the folks here trying to tell us all we shouldnt be happy are the kinds of people that go to children on their birthday and tell them they shouldn't be happy with their presents because their parents should have gotten them something better.

Rob said he is not willing to try to diagnose folks trying to do this, but I have no problem with saying there is something psychiatrically/emotionally wrong with those people here who cannot stand to see other people happy. That is to what this all amounts. There is no need to try to take a few days of happiness away from people who are happy about this election. But, whatever it is that is wrong with the nay-sayers, it is compelling enough they cannot refrain from doing this. There is, thus, a self-evident OCD component to from whatever the nay-sayers are suffering.

Obama is nearly 90 days away from taking office.  I think the exact number is 75 days as of today, November 6th. We already have people talking about how the "Obama Administration" has gone wrong.

Until Obama raises his right hand and takes the oath of office, there is no "Obama administration".

All of this 'well, this appointee once did X' and 'Obama once said Y during his campaign' is childish behavior. None of that is proof of what will happen during an Obama administration. What's more, it is absolutely regressive behavior. No progressive should be in favor of persecuting people for things they havent even done yet. It's the moral equivalent of pre-emptive war. It says, "Well, we KNOW so and so MAY do something one day, so we need to take them out before they do"

Everyone on OpEdNews is familiar with the points of view of the folks who supported McKinney and Nader. We know your arguments. I can recite from memory (and I dont have a good one) word for word all of the things you would say. So could just about everyone here.

Mature and emotionally healthy people who are in the midst of a ton of happy people here but are cynical would be saying something along the lines of "I hope Obama does the right things. Here are some of the things I hope he does...".

For those who cannot do that, modern psychiatry has progressed a great deal in the last 20 years. There are therapies and treatments that can help you.
