We brought peace and security and democracy and fairness to their country, however, every man, woman and child in Iraq has turned into a rabbit.

We brought peace and security and democracy and fairness to their country ,however, every man, woman and child in Iraq has turned into a rabbit.   This is most unfortunate because all the infrastructure we destroyed and then rebuilt, or almost rebuilt, is not suited to rabbits.   Also, as anyone that has read "Watership Down" will attest -- rabbits are not naturally prone to Democracy.  

 

When senator John McCain was asked about the new turn of events he replied, "No, I didn't know that, uh... Iraq has not been much in the news lately.   However, the surge worked absolutely and rabbits living in peace is better than not.   Oh, and by the way-- Go Israel!"    When Senator Lindsey Graham was asked about the situation in Iraq he responded, " Well, no I did not know that, you don't hear much about Iraq on the news anymore...well...we'll have somewhere else to go hunting... I gotta go now, sheyihiye lecha yom na'im!   Apparently, "sheyihiye lecha yom na'im", means have a nice day in Hebrew.
