Her views are extreme but unfortunately accepted by other irrational Americans.
She wants to wean Americans off
Social Security and Medicare but, like nearly every US Congressperson, she
doesn't want to wean Israel
off the billions in dollars of support we furnish it yearly.
But Bachmann believes that we must keep giving Israel untold billions so that God
will be happy. She also believes we should allow Israel
to dictate America's foreign
policy in the Middle East and around the
world. If we don't do all of this, God will destroy the US.

States fails to stand with Israel, that is the end of the United States . . .
[W]e have to show that we are inextricably entwined, that as a nation we have
been blessed because of our relationship with Israel, and if we reject Israel,
then there is a curse that comes into play. And my husband and I are both
Christians, and we believe very strongly the verse from Genesis [Genesis 12:3],
we believe very strongly that nations also receive blessings as they bless Israel. It is a
strong and beautiful principle.
Right now in my own private Bible time, I am working through Isaiah . . .
and there is continually a coming back to what God gave to Israel
initially, which was the Torah and the Ten Commandments...."
So far, it looks like we have been doing God's Will pretty good though. But, we
can't reject Israel or there
will be a big curse on America
since Israel is God's Chosen people, or Country, or something like that,
according to Bachmann.
Disturbingly most people in America
think this 'God's Chosen' theory is pretty well reasoned and scientific.
Why?
Because their Bible tells them so.

We have been giving Israel
all of this money and supporting them with various wars but it doesn't look so
good over here in America.
Lately, the economy has crashed and we have nearly 20% real unemployment. The
government has shredded our constitution and has trampled on our rights and
liberties. We have bankrupted our country for decades, if not centuries, to
come in a Big Bankster payout. The dollar is beginning to look like a valueless
piece of funny green paper and the US may lose its Triple A credit
rating. The super rich just get super richer, and nearly half of our tax
dollars go for the military so we can protect 'God's Chosen' people and spread
God's Chosen Empire. The inner cities are destroyed and America's
infrastructure is collapsing. The country is now ruled by corporations and
consumerism is nearly destroying the planet.
So, I think God has gone back on the deal.
