The Last Time--A Rock and Roll Epistle

This will probably be my last article before the election November 2nd. I am going into the hospital on Monday for surgery on my neck. With recovery and convalescence, it will probably be roughly this time next month before I am in any kind of shape to sit down at the keyboard and write again.
People have been writing, as a result of my article "They're Foxed in the Head" (OpEdNews.com, September 25, 2010), asking why the hell they should bother to vote for the Democrats next month. In their minds, the Democrats are exactly the same as the Re-Publicans, and it doesn't make a damned bit of difference who they vote for.
I found their answer when I was going through my old articles the other day. In a never finished article titled "Tin-Foil Hat," written shortly after Senator Barbara Boxer joined the Black Congressional Caucus in objecting to the Ohio electoral count in 2005 (and John Kerry wimped out by not supporting her), I quoted from an e-mail I had sent to Senator Kerry's campaign:
