The nation is not optimistic, according to the pollsters and pundits, so expect the

"As President Barack Obama enters his sixth year in the White House, 68 percent of Americans say the country is either stagnant or worse off since he took office, according to the latest NBC News/Wall Street Journal poll. Just 31 percent say the country is better off, and a deep pessimism continues to fuel the public's mood. Most respondents used words like 'divided,' 'troubled,' and 'deteriorating' to describe the current state of the nation. On the eve of Tuesday's State of the Union address, more than six-in-10 Americans believe that the nation is headed in the wrong direction and 70 percent are dissatisfied with the economy."
That's the bad news for the White House. If there is any good news, it's that Congress currently enjoys an 81% disapproval rating. Basically, Americans don't like anybody inside the beltway right now. Why should they? No one in DC is listening to the people. They continue to ignore the voices of the American citizens who are desperate for some kind of meaningful action from our so-called representatives.
But there is no change in sight, and little hope in the forecast. With our ongoing, deadly, costly terror wars, drone strikes; domestic spying; shaky health care "reforms;" lack of gun control laws; faltering economy; fracking, drilling, and spilling everywhere; stagnant minimum wage; unfair labor practices; lack of environmental regulations; worsening education system and more. ...
And yet, we will continue to elect the same crop of crazies who will continue to ignore our calls for action.
Why?
