Who knew?

Before the fateful World Trade Center and Pentagon attacks on September 11, 2001, most people in the United States and the world beyond were not aware of September the 11th as a significant date in United States history. But, like the persistent widow, the date just keeps popping up... over and over and over again. And again. And again. Oh and, look, there it is again. And ---too weird to be coincidence----the date even managed to turn up in popular entertainment before the 2001 attacks.

September 11, 1786:
ANNAPOLIS CONVENTION

Officially called: "The Meeting of Commissioners to Remedy Defects of the Federal Government," the convention began on this date and-lasted-four days with 12 delegates from five States in attendance. Some consider this meeting to be the true birthday ---or moment of conception ---of the United States, since the Annapolis Convention resulted in the call for a Constitutional Convention that gave us the form of government we operate under today.

September 11, 1789:
1ST SECRETARY OF THE TREASURY

Alexander Hamilton, who wrote the above mentioned call for a Constitutional Convention, was coincidentally appointed the first United States Secretary of the Treasury on this date. Hamilton vigorously promoted the idea of a central bank (and successfully created one for 20 years) despite the eerily prophetic criticism that a central bank would eventually be the cause of much speculation and corruption -- the exact same major problems we see with our central bank (the Federal Reserve) today.

September 11, 1936:
HOOVER DAM DEDICATION

President Franklin D. Roosevelt dedicated Hoover Dam on this date--which is not very exciting in terms of conspiracy, or any other way--but it is interesting to note that, as a result of the September 11, 2001 attacks, the Mike O'Callaghan Pat Tillman Memorial Bridge project was approved in order to save the dam from the terrorists (whoever they are) and the mere mention of Pat Tillman opens up a whole other can of worms (which we don't have time to go into here).

September 11, 1939:
ANGLO-AMERICAN ALLIANCE

A few days after Adolf Hitler began World War II by attacking Poland, President Franklin D. Roosevelt wrote the letter to Winston Churchill which resulted in the Anglo-American Alliance, a unique, cooperative arrangement between the United States and British militaries.

September 11, 1941:
PENTAGON CONSTRUCTION BEGINS

OK, now things start to get weird. Construction on the Pentagon began on this date and, exactly 60 years later to the day,the September 11, 2001 attack occurred on the south face of the building, which just happened to be undergoing rennovation at the time. The project to repair the damage was named the Phoenix Project (Texe Marrs could have a heyday with this) and its stated goal was to have the former tenants move back in by September 11, 2002.

ROOSEVELT AUTHORIZES NAVAL WARFARE
In one of his famous "Fireside Chats," President Franklin D. Roosevelt announced to the American people that he had given orders to the United States military to open fire on German and Italian warships interfering with commerce in-international waters.

CHARLES LINDBERGH CRITICIZED
Known eugenicist and Nazi-sympathizer, Charles A. Lindbergh, was sharply criticized for his Iowa speech blaming the British, the Jews and the Roosevelt administration for trying to draw the United States into World War II.

September 11, 1950:
WORLD WAR III FEARS

Eerily reminiscent of the recent Russia/Georgia/Ossetia conflict, the world's newspapers speculated that Russia was planning to start World War III before October 1950, but the majority of analysts considered it to be pure hype. Hmm. Can anyone say: "Deja vu"?

September 11, 1970:
INTEREST RATES VS. INFLATION

More deja vu: Calls-to cut interest rates to boost the recessionary economy appeared to be losing ground to the banking sector's claims that any large cuts would create an inflation cycle ... Um. Yeah.

OPERATION TAILWIND

United States' Special Forces commandos and Montagnard mercenaries participated in a black operation in which lethal nerve gas was used to kill American defectors in Laos. Officers had been told that anything in the United States' non-nuclear arsenal would be available for them to use against their countrymen.

September 11, 1973:
PROJECT FUBELT/TRACK II

President Richard Nixon's administration supported, and the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) facilitated, the military coup in which Chilean President Salvador Allende was killed in order to establish a fascist dictatorship favorable to United States' interests. Exactly 25 years later, the documents confirming the United States government's involvement in the project were declassified and released by the National Security Archive on September 11, 1998.

September 11, 1990:
NEW WORLD ORDER

Exactly 11 years before the tragic events that would usher in yet another lie-based war in the exact same region by a United States President belonging to the exact same family tree with the exact same Nazi ancestors, President George H.W. Bush delivered his "Toward a New World Order" speech to a joint session of Congress in which he declared that the Persian Gulf War was "a rare opportunity to move toward an historic period of cooperation. Out of these troubled times ... a new world order can emerge in which the nations of the world, east and west, north and south, can prosper and live in harmony ... " Right.

September 11, 2001:
LAWS OF PHYSICS DEFIED

For the first time ever (and it hasn't happened since), three steel-frame-buildings--World Trade Center buildings 1, 2 and 7--collapsed at free-fall speed, straight down into the path of most resistance due to small office fires that were in the process of weakening and dying at the time of collapse.

RESTRICTED AIRSPACE VIOLATED--

For the first time ever, the Federal Aviation Administration grounded all aircraft in the United States, while at the same time allowing four hijacked commercial airplanes to wander the skies unaccosted by F-16s, including the hijacked airplane heading into the world's most highly-protected airspace (surrounding the Pentagon).

PRESIDENT UNPROTECTED

For the first time ever, a sitting President was allowed to remain vulnerable and exposed in a public venue while multiple terrorist attacks were taking place on United States soil and in highly restricted airspace.

CONFERRING WITH THE ENEMY

At the exact same time of the attacks, Pakistan's Inter-Services Intelligence head, Mahmud Ahmad, was in Washington D.C. conferring with White House, Pentagon and CIA contacts. Ahmad was a regular and frequent visitor to Washington D.C. before, during and after the September 11, 2001 attacks--regular and frequent, that is, right up until it was discovered that $100,000 had been wired from Pakistan to alleged hijacker Mohammed Atta at Ahmad's behest.

LISA-SIMPSON'S AD

In the popular television program, "The Simpsons," a character holds up a magazine featuring a full-page ad for a nine-dollar bus trip to New York--where the number nine just happens to be lined up next to a silhouette of the World Trade Center's Twin Towers, quite clearly spelling out: "New York $911." This episode originally aired on September 21, 1997.

NEO'S PASSPORT EXPIRED

In the popular science fiction movie, "The Matrix," the main character's passport is shown to expire on September 11, 2001. This movie was released in 1999.

WORLD TRADE CENTER HIJACK PLOT

Originally airing on March 4, 2001,-the pilot plot for the popular television show, "The Lone Gunmen," featured government employees posing as terrorists in order to hijack and fly a commercial airplane into New York's World Trade Center by remote control. The show's star, Dean Haglund, admitted that "part of the plot, as it said in the script, was that this event would be used to start an international war on terror." Haglund also stated that representatives from the FBI, CIA and NASA frequently contributed plot ideas for television shows. Yup.
