Mutual Friends
Giants, so gentle, standing graceful and tall
Hope hard and long I do you rarely fall
After I go may there be others that care
That your living green lace receives no tear
In cathedral-vaults of loveliness He made Himself
God in these tiny heavens here does dwell
Carved rock saints truly don't compare
At these works of art I prefer to stare
Ours to share these mutual friends so green
These living lungs that exhale what we breathe
Long may they co-create with us the air
The planet's atmosphere so blue and fair
