"Dogs in Istanbul are so bored that   they  would welcome   a heap of fleas to scratch themselves'

From the Travels in Turkey    Guide, 19th Century

Let's scratch, people. The MSM had   released the fleas   over the bored liberal public and   we all are up there in paroxysm.    We feel so empowered. Congressman Todd Akin said some usual nonsense about women and our ladies- in- TV     are right on target. They are mad as Hell. They demand his withdrawal from the race. The pop their eyes out and move their   bared   shoulders in a flirty disgust.   Thus they kill two birds in with one stone because there's nothing more appealing than a woman   in a sexy dress while being   genuinely appalled about   something.   Most of those   women know that   the primary their   quality is internal indifference, so they never miss a chance to   look appalled or disgusted or even concerned.   And men, they are up in arms too!   They, of course, are not that   stupid as that congressman; they know the drill, they   have been trained quite enough to express genuine   anger towards that atrocity;   boy, we all are scratching ourselves.

Funny thing but we did not   do that all before. Like when Congresswoman Bachmann impressed us with   her eternal wisdom. Or when Hillary    said   that famous   phrase about   her coming and   him dying.   Or when Hillary had to apologize   for expressing horror when watching on TV the killing of someone    wedonotknowwho.   Or when we heard of Bradley Manning and how he was treated. Or when   the Dakotas so -- called laws were passed.    Or when we had recently the London Olympics while Syria delivered   about 1000 dead per day. Or when we heard about   drones   killing children and women- empowered to become drone pilots. Ah, empowerment, a really   word   of words. We still call "our men and women in Iraq and Afghanistan' heroes, while maybe the only   thing   they are together in   is malicious misery. But NO, we don't scratch ourselves about that.   Our rash is p*ssy Riot.

OMG! The whole Hell breaks   lose. Three visibly mentally disturbed   women   performed a bizarre   sacrilege in the   primary   Russian House of worship, were apprehended and tried in the open court for disturbing the peace. They were sentenced to 2 years in   minimal security colony and the Church vouches for them, so they most likely   will be pardoned. Yes, it was a tough court, Russian style with them in a cage   with glass walls for all to see, yes, many Russian people were outraged. But here- oh boy, we howled!    Firstly we called them feminists   and activists. They were neither. Russian women do   not consider them that way. Their nickname in Russia is "berserk pussies', which says a lot.   Second, we have their speeches, prepared as if they had been PhDs- so many historical references   that   it was   enough for   three theses. Not that they were that educated before.   There is even a reference to Dostoevsky, his civil death trial for apparently " just participation in some discussions.'   Dostoevsky was a deeply religious man and if only he could hear who used his   name in vain"   Well, we here don't really care; fairly recently Laura Bush, our chief librarian had a temerity to call Dostoevsky her favorite author.

Wow, those Russians, they   are really disappointing.   Despite   liberals in power they somehow don't care for empowerment. Now we are going to fix that- Pussies will become as popular as Beatles. Suddenly their   music   has flavor and all women should use them as role models. No, they should not use Anna Politkovskaya- she was too radical. They should not use   women of Haiti as examples- they are too French. They should not   us Lynn Stewart- she is too old. The should not use Cindy Sheehan- she is too angry.   Girls,   welcome   Pussies as your saviors and examples for life.
