When I was first called a "Christ Killer"
I didn't know who Jesus was--
I was playing with some neighbor kids
in the alley when we got into a big argument
Over cowboys and Indians .That's when they
Informed me that the Jews had killed Christ!
And that being a Jew I was somehow responsible!
When I asked how they knew this
They said their parents told them-
I asked my mom and pop and they said
It wasn't true. They told me that we
Loved everybody. But that's not what my
Grandmother said. She said she left
Russia because the Czar and the Cossacks
Were killing Jews just because they were
