Subject of Comment:Democracy: The Big Lie!

Comment:There has never been and will never be a true Democracy on this planet without a quantum shift in human consciousness.

There have NEVER been FREE elections on this planet and if there has been one that was honest, it was probably an accident.

When the presidency in a land of 300 million can be won with 527 votes, something needs to change.

Like SOME religious doctrine, SOME political doctrine is sound until men (usually wealthy) of marginal morality (that's how most get wealthy) begin making modifications to fit their self-serving agendas.

Money is power, power corrupts, too much of either, in the hands of too few, will destroy any system of government. That is a historically documented statement of fact.

THOSE WHO CHOOSE TO IGNORE HISTORY WILL REPEAT THE MISTAKES OF THEIR PREDECESSORS, THE DESTRUCTIVE RESULTS OF WHICH WILL BE COMPOUNDED BY PROGRESSION OF TECHNOLOGY, MILITARY POWER, FINANCIAL ASPECTS AND GROWTH OF THE POPULATION EFFECTED.

A nation is a grouping of people who share a COMMON, history, language, culture and ethnic origin possessing or seeking their own government.(Go Based on that definition the United States of America is not now and never has been a nation.

We are a confederation of states populated by many ethnic groups with many historical and cultural differences allegedly operating as a Federal Constitutional Republic though there have been extended periods of inconsistency in the application of that philosophy. The only thing democratic about our political system is the name of one of the two parties APPEARING to compete for control.

There has NEVER been and NEVER will there be a true DEMOCRACY on this planet without a quantum shift

THE FOUNDERS OF "OUR" GOVERNMENT CONSIDERED DEMOCRACY MOB RULE. That is the reason the elite, who have controlled government and business since St. Petersburg was established and later, after the Mayflower landed, denied the vote to all but land holding, tax paying white males until the late 19th century when adult white males who owned no property, but paid for the right, were allowed to vote. From then until 1920, when women were entitled and their husbands decided for whom they would vote, state governments could still set requirements to control who did and could not vote

Several tomes could be filled with court records of all the legal actions filed and contested over what so many today take for granted then sit on their dimpled butts watching returns on Fux news who predicts the outcome with 2% of precincts reporting. Well the u isn't very far from the o so it was an honest mistake, not to mention apropos. If I offend anyone let me know and I will explain why I am not going to apologize.

Restrictions based on race, Gerrymandering, poll taxes and literacy tests were some of the most effective controls. LITERACY SHOULD BE REQUIRED since it would be rather difficult for someone who couldn't read the ballot to vote unless someone else told them, and/or paid them, to vote for a given individual.

Our last three elections saw shortages of voting machines that caused lines long enough to discourage many inner city poor, machines that didn't work also causing long delays or machines that cast votes for a candidate other that the one the voter selected on the machine and there was the least subtle corruption involving the infamous hanging chad in Florida which corrupted that election. When the obviously BIASED Supreme Court stopped the purposely slow recount and declared the winner even though, and this is the item that exposes the arrogance, the absentee ballots from the TROOPS FIGHTING, DYING AND BEING MAIMED in a CORPORATE WAR being waged in the middle east-at the expense of the taxpayers-HAD NOT BEEN COUNTED!!! I knew, after watching those, (string of obscenities), election results slither through our system that this country was on a slope too slippery for even the best mud and snow tires to find traction. An applicable analogy given the stark reality that our election process has become a mud slinging battle between ALL parties involve and a SNOWSTORM of rhetoric that could blind and has blinded many of the already apathetic voting public.

Both of our "competing" political entities think most of the voting public shouldn't have the vote though they still make empty promises (LIE) to the poor to garner theirs.
