I take the murder of President Kennedy very personally. Anyone who has been keeping up with my running battle with Mr. Paul Mays in the comments section of my article "The Great Enemy of the Truth," I am certain has deduced that fact already.
I consider the murder of JFK to be a roadblock in our nation's history; a place from which our nation may not, in a positive sense, go forward from until it is fully, and honestly resolved. We do not need to have the surviving conspirators hanging from lamp posts in Washington, D.C., or reopen Alcatraz for their life sentences; we simply need to know that some degree of justice has been done, and that the truth has willed out.

This fact proves that the assassin in that position fired only two shots, rather than the three required to fit J. Edgar Hoover's scenario of the assassination, which is what the Commissioners were being fed to come to the "predetermined," power elite solution to the crime.
"Fiat justitia, et ruat caelum!" cried Lucius Calpurnius Piso Caesonius, father-in-law of Julius Caesar more than two thousand years ago. "Let justice be done, though the heavens may fall!" he cried, upon learning of his son-in-law's murder.
So what motivates someone like Mr. Mays to use the most baseless calumnies against me in our little spat? Why is he so personally invested in the myth perpetrated by the Warren Commission? There could be any one of a dozen reasons that Mr. Mays is so vehement in his defense of a group of men, who were steered into making a particular decision without access to all of the information, by other men who had every reason to hide the truth.
In the interests of full disclosure, I have not been paying that close of attention to developments in the JFK assassination story for roughly ten years. I have been working hard on my own mental health, as well as looking at more recent developments in this nation's current self-inflicted auto-da-fà ©, that began (I believe) with our Thirty-fifth President's murder in Dallas. It was a video I found through Brasscheck TV.com of the Secret Service agents being ordered off the rear of JFK's limousine that rekindled my interest.
