"At the
establishment of our constitutions, the judiciary bodies were supposed
to be the most helpless and harmless members of the government.
Experience, however, soon showed in what way they were to become the
most dangerous; that the insufficiency of the means provided for their
removal gave them a freehold and irresponsibility in office; that their
decisions, seeming to concern individual suitors only, pass silent and
unheeded by the public at large; that these decisions, nevertheless,
become law by precedent, sapping, by little and little, the foundations
of the constitution, and working its change by construction, before any
one has perceived that that invisible and helpless worm has been busily
employed in consuming its substance. In truth, man is not made to be
trusted for life, if
secured against all liability to account."

200 year old warnings continue to be ignored
...

Despite the fact that former President of the
Republic of the United States of America Thomas Jefferson (1743-1826)
-- who, incidentally, taught himself to translate the very early (and of
controversially pre-historic Irish origin perhaps) "Oisà n in Tir na n-"g"
tale
(http://tinyurl.com/ct3pq9j)
from the version of the ancient Celtic
language still in use in Ireland and Scotland -- and who is still widely regarded as
one of the most talented and most accomplished lawyer/politicians of all
time, his many worries, observations, conclusions, together with his
many very strongly worded warnings about the "money power banksters",
and their "system of banking", continue to be ignored nonetheless by all
(or almost all) leading lawyers and politicians of our own time:
COMPLETELY ignored, it seems (to me).
My research suggests that Thomas Jefferson's worries, observations,
conclusions, and warnings about the banksters are generally correct and
justified, and that they still all have extremely important validity
and application today: perhaps much more so (in some respects) than during his lifetime
-- allowing (for example) for the "money power" phenomenon of NATO type "thermonuclear
warmongering" and bullying activities connected with global "regime change"
operations and ambitions
which we have these days -- and which was something Thomas Jefferson
and his contemporaries did not have to concern themselves about in any
way.
In an effort to try and remind people of Thomas Jefferson's worries,
observations, conclusions, and severe warnings about the banksters, an
e-mail titled "Promissory Notes, Bonds, and Futurity"
was sent yesterday
to the United Nations which included (among others) the following two
statements made by Thomas Jefferson in a letter to his friend John
Taylor dated May 28th 1816:
"The system of banking we have both equally and ever reprobated ('to see
as having been rejected by God and without hope of salvation').
"I contemplate it as a blot left in all our constitutions, which, if
not covered, will end in their destruction, which is already hit by the
gamblers in corruption, and is sweeping away in its progress the
fortunes and morals of our citizens."

The same e-mail, as can be seen at the www address just above, also
contained the following sentence:
"Democracy will rise superior to the money power, Prime Minister Enda
Kenny:

Although the "speculation" represented by the sentence just above is at
the present time a VERY shaky proposition (in my opinion), I
nevertheless believe it still MIGHT come true: mostly because of the
Internet, and the way the Internet makes it so much more difficult for
the banksters -- and their many very willing-and-able accomplices in
governments and in the MSM (Main Stream Media) -- to keep on fooling the
vast majority of "the people" so successfully, than it was for them to
do during the days of Thomas Jefferson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Jefferson)
and his contemporaries, and for most of the time since then.
Some examples of the kind of "fooling the people" devices I have in
mind, which are just a few present-day samples of a considerably larger
"box of tricks" the banksters have been very successfully using to
deceive and "to rob 'the people' blind" in a very wide
range of extremely far-reaching ways for
centuries (I believe), can be viewed in the comment titled:

How are governments to be prevented from committing crime with
impunity?
"There is only one force in the nation that can be depended upon to
keep the government pure and the governors honest, and that is
the
people themselves. They alone, IF WELL INFORMED, are
capable of preventing the corruption of power, and of restoring the
nation to its rightful course if it should go astray.
They alone are the
safest depository of the ultimate powers of government. "
