he welfare and survival of the American republic. First of all, the president, as commander-in-chief of the armed force as well as chief executive, has taken an oath to protect and preserve the country. If he failed to do this he would certainly be open to impeachment for failure to perform the duties of his office.
The many at home and abroad who are working hard to prevent him from attacking Iran(and criticizing him for attacking Iraq), for the most part, are not at risk of a nuclear detonation in their community. Only places like New York, D.C., and London are.
Paris is safe, so the French want to stay friendly with a major oil producer by demanding that the U.S. follow proper procedures in the U.N. and adhere to the various international laws. Most members of the U.N. are secretly happy when any western power fails in any way because it takes the pressure off their own governments for failing to provide for their own people.
War against the U.S. was decdlared by Al-Qaeda long before 9/11, and many times since then. What more does anyone need to have the right to attack its enemies? In the second World War the Germans declared war on the U.S. with no provocation except that the U.S. had declared war on their partner Japan.
Likewise the U.S. and allied countries declared war against Bulgaria,Turkey,Italy, etc. in the last two world wars even though they had not directly attacked the U.S. When wars start, pick out your enemies and start shooting because if you don't someone will shortly be doing that to you.
I end this article with a plea for all good people who have any compassion for the American nation to back off of their criticism and try to find some compassion in your hearts for those people at risk in the U.S.and Great Britain. The following is a quote from Thomas Jefferson, the instigator and founder of our constitution, to John B. Colvin in 1810.
"A strict observance of the written laws is doubtless one of the high duties of a good(officer), but it is not the highest. The laws of necessity, of self-preservation, of saving our country when in danger, are of higher obligation."We are currently in just such a position and need the support of everyone who is interested in the preservation of our country.
