The Republican party is hellbent not only on ruinous policy but also on an election campaign that daily drags our politics further into absurdity. As an activist who has worked against the extremists for many years and written about their policies and politics in many forums, I find myself seeing logic more and more in using alternate forms to stand against them. With a nod to the many activist traditions that have joined with the people over the years (and centuries), I have just written and posted an angry though sarcastic song. It has a video, too, which does not feature the overexposed Mr. Gingrich's likeness; rather, it simply shows bleak child-labor photos from the old-days USA that the GOP so worships.
