Now that the chameleon Mitt Romney has all but secured the Republican nomination "extravaganza" for president, the real down and dirty presidential electoral season is about to begin.

Yet, this time, after witnessing what policies Obama actually adopted in office as opposed to what Mr. "Change you can believe in" articulated in his 2008 campaign, one wonders, are there two chameleon's running?

Of course, there's an alternative, Rocky Anderson running on the Justice Party ticket, but like Ralph Nader before him, he may be the best candidate, but does he stand a chance against Obama and presumably Romney?

Two things to consider:

1. Can Anderson get on the ballot in all 50 states?

2. Will he be able to secure his place in the presidential debates?

At this point, those two questions remain unanswered (at least to this writer, who queried Anderson's campaign and got "We're working on it.")

We desperately need an alternative to the two party duopoly at the top because when all is said and done, when the dust clears, the policy's of either a Democrat or a Republican occupant in the White House remain essentially the same.

Sure there are differences. Obama is brighter and more articulate than cowboy Bush, but really, his policy decisions are hardly different, especially regarding war and the expansion of the national security state.
